some of you may have noticed that this "food junkie" has not talked about food in quite awhile. and the reason is because...i am pregnant and am barely even keeping down juice. it is still so weird to say that i am pregnant. unbelievable. it is such a precious and gracious gift from the Lord.
it has been a long journey that the Lord has taught me so much through. the journey included ovarian cysts. endomitriosis. and three surgeries.
i was not on any medication when we got pregnant. i decided to take the natural route through the spring of 2011. then if i wasn't pregnant, begin some hormones. i took juice plus, some chinese herbs, vitamin d, and began to change my eating habits based on the book "making babies."
i found out i was pregnant at 3.5 weeks (basically, the very first day i could test and get a positive). at 5 weeks, i began to get really sick and have been battling morning sickness. scratch that. all day sickness ever since. i have currently lost 15 pounds, so the dr. put me on a pump that gives me nausea meds through my stomach 24/7. praying that this works because i can not lose anymore weight and stress the baby out.
i am also on bed rest because my cyst problem has not gone away. i have a large 5.5 cm cyst just hanging out.
even still, i am so thankful to be given this experience. i can't believe this is all happening and just praying to carry this baby through full term!
