were any of you curious enough to watch the season opener of american idol last night? I have to admit, if i were not couch-bound, i probably would not have tuned in. i have never been a big jennifer lopez fan and wasn't that excited that she was the girl judge. even still, i watched anyways.
i have to say i was positively surprised. all the judges clicked well together. j.lo was not as self-asbsorbed as she normally is and steven tyler did not look high on meds. randy also seemed to have more of a voice since simon wasn't there to overpower him. it all just clicked and had more energy than the past few years.

You don't like jlo? Come on girl! I get not liking wendy but not jlo. I thought it was great...missed simon a little though. Steven tyler is going to be hillarious. We watch every season...big AI fans and I think this might be the best one yet. As long as there is enough really great talent?
